Formerly the Modesto Raiders Minor League Football team. In September, we joined the San Joaquin Valley Football League. A great league with 4 years of local history behind them. After being a solo owner for the last 4 years, Leon Benjamin is happy to announce the additions of Rick Loveland as co-owner of the CV Raiders. Mandee Bratcher is starting her second year with the team. She is our General Manager. Rick was the back bone that kept the Raiders going in 2014 as General Manager. The Modesto Raiders finishing @ 10-2 and had the second best record in the UFA (United Football Alliance) this past season. Our new season will officially start in March 2015. The Raiders will be started OTAs (Organized Team Activities in September 2014. We are proud of our dedicated and enthusiastic new members that began training very early this season. Thank you to all those that participated last year, especially our returning team members. It's great to see some talented new faces on the field. Everyone's continued support for the team ensures our commitment to the local community. Our history encompasses over 21+ years as an amateur to semi pro football team. We have played in back to back play-offs the past three years. Our team is owned solely by Lugwando "Leon" Benjamin. Leon has been with the team for over 16 years. Leon has been the sole owner for the past four years. This year our knowledgeable coaching staff includes: Donyal Horton, Joe Bonnit, and Rick Loveland. Our new HC Lance Brown is a great addition to our current staff.
